Sponsorship guidelines
HomeStart supports a wide variety of organisations, not-for-profits and events. To make sure that our support goes to the most suitable sponsorships, we have developed a set of guidelines which outline what we look for when evaluating applications.
While we are open to requests, please keep in mind we may not always be able to help.
Eligibility criteria
At HomeStart, we consider the following when assessing sponsorship proposals:
- Alignment with HomeStart's brand values and assisting in one of the 4 key outcome areas
- Whether it meets HomeStart’s sponsorship objectives
- Initiatives that benefit the South Australian community
- Business benefts for HomeStart
- Available budget
- Timing
HomeStart does not support the following:
- Requests that benefit an individual person or family
- Political or religious organisations
- Organisations promoting anti-social activities such as gaming, alcohol or drugs
- International events
- Initiatives that may be construed as discriminatory or dangerous
Other information required
Other information you will need to provide in your application for sponsorship:
- Organisation details, including history, values and length of operation
- Proposed sponsorship details including type of sponsorship, dates of sponsorship and proposed cost
- List of your current sponsors
- Details of how the sponsorship will be measured
- Your target audience
- Contact details
