HomeStart is committed to making the content of this site accessible to the widest possible audience, including those with visual and hearing impairments.

We strive to conform to the W3C Web Content Accessibility and to comply with Level  A of the Web Content Accessiblity Guidelines, Version 2.0.

1. Supported browsers
This website is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 9.0 and above or Firefox.  If you would like to upgrade to the latest version of your browser, you can download from Microsoft, alternatively you can download the latest version of Firefox from Mozilla or Chrome from Google.

2. Screen resolution
For best results when viewing this website, we suggest you set your screen size to 1024 x 768 pixels.

3. PDFs
Some documents within the site, such as our home loan brochures and newsletters are saved in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to read or print these documents.  Adobe Acrobat can be downloaded for free from Adobe.

4. Javascript
This site uses Javascript technology to run some interactive features.  Your browser preferences must be set to support Javascript in order to best view this site.  Please be aware that some browsers may not fully support Javascript.

5. Language translations
We offer multi-language translations of PDF documents for our home loan products.  This information is translated into community languages. Visit our Languages other than English page to view our translated brochures.

Disability support

1. Deaf or Hearing Impaired
HomeStart is now a deafness friendly location.  As part of DeafSA’s ‘Hi’ deafness friendly program, HomeStart has incorporated specialised hearing systems into our workplace. This equipment will ensure deaf and hearing impaired customers, clients and employees have full access to HomeStart’s products and services.

National Relay Service is a phone solution for people who are deaf or have difficulty with hearing or speech.

2. Vision impaired
The Royal Society for the Blind (RSB) is the primary source of assistance, giving people with vision impairment the opportunity to improve the quality and independence of their lives.

3. Mobility impaired
The Independent Living Centre (ILC) of South Australia is a State Government funded service which provides information and advice on equipment, technology and techniques to assist people to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.

4. Mental health
