John Rolfe joined HomeStart as the General Manager, Retail in August 2008, and provides strategic direction for lending, marketing, customer relations and product development.
With over 25 years of financial experience, John has worked across all areas of retail banking. Highlights include setting up a national direct channel for deposits in the mid 90's, and looking after the mortgage products for BankWest for ten years, over which time the portfolio grew seven-fold.
John is the Vice President of the SA/WA Branch of the Institute of Financial Services, and a Vice President on its national committee. He is regularly invited to speak at national and international mortgage industry events.
John has well established relationships with all major broking firms at the highest level as well as key operational levels. He also has an extensive network amongst mortgage lenders, including the four major banks and both mortgage insurance providers.
John is regularly sought out by financial journalists in both mainstream and industry publications, and has strong relationships with CANNEX, Infochoice, Datamonitors and Retail Finance Intelligence in the financial research space.
